I'll be heading to Ohio in mid March to become a Trained Sewing Instructor (TSI). Many of you have asked if I teach classes...so that's my next move. Eventually I'd like to open a Fiber Arts Resource Center that offers all levels of sewing classes - it's great for the body, mind, and spirit! I would also assist the teachers (I wouldn't teach all the classes) with their lesson plans and teaching techniques. I'll be working with the local ASG (American Sewing Guild) to put my plan into action! |

I'm almost done with my monogramming ideas. I'll be testing out my worksheets and procedures over the next few months. |

I've been redesigning my website! I'm also back to work which means less time for sewing. |

I've been working on a new tote bag. This one is a zippered overnight tote bag. It has the option of a big monogram on the front. I expect to have the design all worked out by mid-January. My friend Maria got the first sample - cream and black toile with fuchsia lining. I monogrammed it using black thread on fuchsia fabric. It's really cute! Now I'm working on one for me. |
